It’s GO Time with Christi Marraccini
Growing up, Christi Marraccini knew that a desk job wasn’t her speed. “I was a tomboy,” she says. “I just wanted to play sports, be outside, and run around.” That mindset carried over into her adult life as a fitness coach. She created GO, your favorite strength-cardio-core class on NEOU, because she loves to keep her training interesting, which is exactly what you get in GO: “It's always fun to mix it up, and keep myself and everyone at home on their toes,” she says. Get to know Christi more in the Q&A below—then get to work on the NEOU app.
What makes classes on NEOU so special?
The classes on NEOU are so special because they're taught by real instructors. They're taught by people that really care and want to make a difference in the member's life. They're super entertaining, but you always leave every single class feeling accomplished.
What do you love most about your work?`
I love the creative side of it and being able to program. And then you see the results, you see the outcome, it's tangible. [Also], getting to interact with so many different people is always exciting and very rewarding.
What inspires you every day?
Knowing the people at home are enjoying the classes. They keep me motivated wanting to program new and exciting things, but also showing up every day and giving the best performance.
Who is Christi outside of the fitness industry?
I am fortunate enough to work for NEOU on the production side. I love being able to work both behind the camera and in front of the camera. A lot of my time is spent here, but outside of NEOU, I love spending time with family.
